It includes camper of your choice with unlimited kilometres/miles, 24% VAT tax, CDW (Collision damage waiver) insurance where you liability is 2.500€ in case of an accident, bedding (sheets, pillows and blankets) and a kitchen box filled with everything needed to cook a simple meal including a gas stove.

When reserving your camper you pay a confirmation fee as 15% of the total amount this can be done by credit card

The remaining amount is due at the start of the rental and can be paid by card or by cash. Note that a credit card in the name of the renter needs to be presented at the start of the rental for insurance purposes.

No, we do not refund if you return the camper early. If you wish to return the camper early please notify us before.

All returns shall take place during opening hours (9am – 7pm)

Optionally if you need to return the campers outside out opening hours we will take a deposit on your credit card in the same amount as the liability on your insurance (1.000 – 2.500 €) this will be refunded if the camper is returned without any damage to it. Please return the camper at our office at: Dugguvogur 15 from Kænuvogur side, 104 Reykjavík and drop the keys in our postal slot.

Note: we reserve the right to substitute another vehicle if the reserved vehicle is not available at pick up with a similar camper or a higher class.

• CDW is included with the rental, it includes mandatory vehicle insurance, liability insurance, accident insurance for occupants and owner. there is a deductible of 2.500€ on this insurance
• SCDW includes the same as CDW with a deductible lowered to 500€
• GP or gravel protection is an optional insurance that covers damages caused by rocks or gravel hitting the paintwork or glasswork of the vehicle, there will be no liability in damages covered by this insurance. it is highly recommend
• SAAP, sand and ash protection covers damages caused by sand or ash storms that are otherwise not covered by any other insurance. deductible of this insurance is 800€
• TP, tire protection covers the cost of fixing or replacing a broken tire, it is however not a roadside assistance and you will need to switch to the spare tire to get to a tire service center. there is no liability on this insurance
• Premium Insurance Package includes, SCDW, SAAP and GP with their respective liabilities
• Platinum Insurance Package includes all insurance options with a zero deductible

1. 1. Intentional damage or damage due to gross negligence on the part of the driver.
   2. Damage resulting from the driver being under the influence of alcohol, stimulants or sedatives, or in any other way incapable of driving the vehicle in a safe manner.
   3. Damage due to race or test driving.
   4. Damage due to war, revolution, civil unrest or riots.
   5. Damage done by animals.
   6. Holes burned into seats, carpets or mats.
   7. Damage affecting only wheels, tires, suspension, batteries, glass (other than windows), radios, or loss by theft of parts of the vehicle and damage resulting from this.
   8. Damage caused to the vehicles´ transmission, drive other parts that are in or attached to the chassis; damage to the chassis resulting from scraping the bottom on rough roads or as a result of ridges being left by road graders, stones lodged in the road surface or on the shoulder of the road. The same applies to damage by stones striking the underside of the vehicle during driving.
   9. Cost of transporting or towing the vehicle to the return location in the event of a collision or accident.
   10. Damages resulting from driving in places where vehicle traffic is banned, such as paths, tracks, banks of snow, ice, unbridged rivers or streams, beaches, places only accessible at low tide, or other trackless areas.
   11. Damages caused by sand, gravel, rocks, ash, pumice, or other kinds of earth material being blown onto the vehicle.
   12. If the vehicle is transported by sea, no compensation will be paid for damage caused by sea spray/seawater.
   13. Damage to vehicles caused by driving on roads marked with an F in public maps as well as driving on Kjölur (Road 35) or Kaldidalur (Road 550)
   14. Lessors loss because of the vehicle being stolen.
   15. Water damage to the vehicle.

Yes, you can add extras at any time before your arrival given that they are available, so it’s best to add extras in a timely manner to prevent disappointment.
